BOCCA GRANDE - Procedere 2011

Bocca Grande is the Japanese duo formed by music producer Kousuke Ishida aka Trio and former piano teacher Yuka Kobayashi. Trio started to compose at sixteen years old. His sound reflects the deepness experienced in his life and that we find in the Japanese culture and his DJ style is influenced by the old school, from the deep side of Chicago house to the Detroit techno etc..Their productions have been already released on labels like Mathematics (Chicago), Four Roses (Germany), Black Vinyl (Uk), Nice and Smooth (Canada) and Futic silver (Tokyo). The tunes have been getting huge responses since played out by Motor City Drum Ensemble during his guest slot at Tim Sweeney's legendary Beats in Space into the radio show in New York. Their music gives an high value to the classic piano mixed with theelectronic vibes. And their composition OProcedere shows magically their concept, a magnificent and emotional record, Oabove any trend, that recently blowed the roof off when played by Agoria at Fabric ! Originally released by the American imprint Mathematics Recordings, Procedere has been already selected as finalist in the Mercedes-Benz Mixed Tapes contest. Rebirth decided to give it the love it deserves releasing it as a proper single in May, to aticipate the release of the Bocca Grande first album ! The release comes with a remix from no one less than Metro Areas Morgan Geist. Responsible for Environs Unclassics series , his music owes a debt to the classic house music of New York, Chicago and Detroit. Respectful for the authenticity of the Original mix, Morgan works the magic building the mix around a part of the piano theme and giving it his trademark production sound, bass heavy with an infectious analog groove, fluttery vintage synths, and an hypnotic and atmospheric feel. 2011 will be the consacration of a great artist...Bocca Grande !
